Become a member and receive special newsletters, a periodic bulletin, notice of programs sponsored by the Democratic Women of Santa Barbara County as well as other community groups and recommendations on candidates for public office-all designed to help keep members informed.

Membership dues go toward assisting those candidates identified by the Democratic Women of Santa Barbara who promote Democratic principles.

I am pleased to announce that the Board of Democratic Women of Santa Barbara County has endorsed Iya Falcone, Cathy Murillo and Deborah Schwartz for election to the Santa Barbara City Council in the fall.

The mission of the Democratic Women of Santa Barbara County is to promote Democratic principles, issues, and candidates by educating the public, increasing voter participation, and ensuring election integrity, while collaborating with other Democratic organizations at the local, state, and national level.

As a charter club of the California Democratic Party, Democratic Women of Santa Barbara County has participated in progressive campaigns for 40 years.
